In my years of teaching, I’ve found that Black children do indeed desire education. However, the schools that are “educating” them are irrelevant and teacher expectations and love are low. Afrikan centered education values the Black child like no other and they respond so well.
It’s time we find a way to provide them with the educational nourishment they desire by any means necessary. Since our children are depending on us, we have no room for fear. Black homeschooling and educational institution-building is a must.
